Pattern or aftermarket replacement part manufacturers have developed a thriving business because, for some components, there are such a high demand particularly those parts needed by older vehicles. These replacement parts can be separated into “Good Quality” replacement spares and “Poor Quality” replacement spare parts. This is the area where it becomes very difficult for the vehicle owner who is often forced to buy parts because the vehicle is worn out in some way and needs the parts if it is to continue to work safely. Car air condition condenser
The condenser functions as a heat exchanger. It releases heat into the air passing through its fins. The refrigerant system releases heat energy with a condenser and receives heat energy with the evaporator. The condenser receives high temperature high pressure vapor from the compressor and converts it to high pressure liquid through the process of condensation. Evaporators are usually made of aluminum. Evaporators consist of a series of internal tubes or “flow paths” with fins attached to them. Car air conditioner valve
An expansion valve is a component in refrigeration and air conditioning systems that control the amount of refrigerant flow into the evaporator thereby controlling the superheating at the outlet of the evaporator. Thermal expansion valves are often referred to generically as "metering devices". Car air conditioner drier
The receiver-drier’s primary function is to receive and store some liquid refrigerant from the condenser. The liquid refrigerant enters at the top of the receiver and falls to the bottom. A pickup tube with a filter screen extends to the bottom of the receiver-drier. This pickup tube draws liquid refrigerant from the bottom of the receiver-drier. The liquid refrigerant then passes on to the inlet of the thermostatic expansion valve. Klimex hereby provide a number of choices to different type of needs.
The blower motor ensures an air flow from outside to inside the cabin or air circulation within the cabin if recycling function is on. It is located in the HVAC module between the cabin air filter and the evaporator. In Klimex we provide blower motor for most of the vehicle seen on the street.
A pressure switch is used to detect the pressure drop when the refrigerant leaks from the system and turns off the magnetic clutch of the compressor. This is installed in the liquid pipe line in the cooling unit. Pressure Switches are small but critical devices as it prevents compressor seizures in a refrigerant leakage situation.
The radiator motor and fan shroud are at the upper or low side of the airflow in the radiator and condenser. It is comprises of a single (or double) electric motor that operates the fan, a shroud (usually plastic) that fixes the motor and protects the fan and other speed control parts.
A thermostat or thermistor is a temperature sensor that is installed in front of the evaporator to sense the temperature of the air discharged from the evaporator. The thermistor transforms the changes of temperature into changes of resistance (voltage). When the voltage of the thermistor increases and reaches the specified voltage, the amplifier makes the magnetic clutch turn off to prevent the evaporator from frosting.
Relays are used in the A/C system as control points to regulate the current flow between A/C component, namely the blower motors and the magnetic clutches. By using this relay, the current that flows though the key switch will be greatly reduced as only a small amount of current is required to actuate the relay.
Blower regulators or cooling regulators are used to control the speed of the interior blower unit. This is done by varying the speed of the resistance values.
